Those of you who have been on a Eurocamp holiday, what are the prices like onsite?

Looking at Eurocamp for a family holiday this year, 2 adults 2 teenage girls. Compared to other school holiday options, they appear to be an absolute bargain even when factoring the cost of transport. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the prices are like onsite, os everhthing overinflated in the restaurants & market? Any hidden costs that I might not be considering (like fees for activities). Generally just any feedback at all. Not settled on a particular site, so cant be specific just yet (suggestions welcome!)

This will vary hugely depending on the park as Eurocamp don’t own them. We went to Camping Village Fabulous in Rome and the shop prices were comparable to the ones in a supermarket we went to in the city itself. The restaurants were typical restaurant prices.

It was great for what we needed. We just used it as a base for going into Rome tbh. We went at Easter so the pool was closed. No idea what it would be like when it’s busier.

They vary. The parks are run by different companies with Euro camp just renting pitches and facilities. Best thing is to check reviews of The actual park you are going to

Onsite prices are higher than a normal supermarket but not outrageously so. The small shop, bars and food outlets are priced like a tourist holiday park rather than a rip-off, but you wouldn’t want to rely on them for every meal. Most families self-cater a lot, using nearby supermarkets, and treat onsite food and drinks as occasional extras. The main “hidden” costs are activities. Pools are usually included, but things like archery, climbing, inflatables, bike hire and some kids’ clubs are often pay-per-session. Overall Eurocamp stays good value if you budget for activities and don’t eat every meal onsite.
