You can see it without the light pollution?

If our friend would post the app information, then we could see the next occurrence easily. It happens quite often.

I did. Go to your store and type in Spot The Station.

There is a magnitude 1.5 Starlink train pass tonight at 6:11PM. Last night was a 1.0 and they were visible. Who knows if they will be visible tonight. Check here for info: https://www.heavens-above.com/StarlinkLaunchPasses.aspx?lat=32.7763&lng=-96.7969&loc=Dallas&alt=0&tz=CST

I use the GoISSWatch app same functionality - but while you do "see" the ISS passing by, what you'll actually see is a moving point of light, under the right conditions - don't expect to see ISS detail or the ISS guys taking a spacewalk or waving from the windows. Cool, but not actually seeing it in the traditional sense of the word.

Even the app says we'll have 100% cloud cover. Why are you so excited?

The ISS passes over Allen, Texas over 30 times a month. This is nothing special??

SMF67@reddit

This time it passes directly in front of the moon iirc that's why it's a big deal
View on Reddit #75158435

CheezitsLight@reddit (OP)

No. In bursts a four of five days, and half that is at 5 am. This tlis the last for the month.
View on Reddit #75156760

FromTheDeskOfJAW@reddit

…yes. And it averages out to more than 30 times a month. Just like every other spot on earth around 33° latitude

Except you csnt see it.

There are more days when you can see it in Dallas. Up to the 14th. The last day beomg the 7th is in Allen. The orbit precesses. And it will.be back again in a while

So crazy how seeing a whole ass space ship is mundane or not interesting to most i guess cause of how common it is, like a SPACE SHIP is hovering by for us to see :O
