New PSU making rumbling and crackling noises

I just installed a brand new PSU, the ASRock Phantom Gaming PG-1000G in my PC, along with a new GPU (rtx 5080). What I noticed in the following hours were two strange noises that seem to come from the PSU:
The first being a short low rumble / vibrating sound(?) that occured only occasionally, not constant. Sounded a bit like a controller rumble...
The second being a crackling (not buzzing/whining) sound that only started coming up later, a few hours after installation. It lasted longer, but also was come and go.
Both noises occured no matter the load on the PSU.
Should I be worried? Is there any way to test whether the unit is faulty?
Thinking about RMA, but without anything being (visibly) damaged, that'll be difficult I reckon. The system still works fine, but I fear that the other pc parts will be damaged if I continue running it.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hello, did you find any solution or answer to the crackling noise?, my SL-850g started doing it today but only when a load from 105w to 110w on gpu (also a 5080) and 38ish watts on cpu.

Hey, the crackling sound still persists, sometimes more sometimes less, but the PSU seems to be working fine. I guess it's just extra nasty coil whine. Regarding the rumbling noises, I reckon it's caused by the fan. I didn't notice it in recent times though. I turned the "icool" switch on the back of the unit to "off", maybe that helped.

I have the same sort of noises from my AsRock PG-1600G PSU. I think it is coil whine but it does get annoying sometimes. However, if I have my headset on, I don't really notice it much as it blends in with the fans spinning up in my chassis and on my GPU.
