Smokers, ex-smokers, and fire fans - What’s your favourite lighter? 🔥

As in a common brand bought from an everyday shop). Not some bespoke gold plated zippo with your nan’s initials on the back. 🟩At a glance I would say my favourite is probably Cricket lighters. Very satisfying click, compact design, and provide a pretty good flame until the end of their lifespan. Downsides being that they can abruptly stop working with little warning once ran out, and thus being difficult to perform a “g***y flick” successfully in trying times. 🟦But if I really think logically, actually my favourite would probably be Clippers. Classic, iconic design, range of materials/variants, and great to grasp in your palm if needing to 🤜 someone (in self defence) to protect your hand from breaking. Can also use the removable flints to poke Baccy into your role up or a reggae javelin. Doesn’t get greater than that tbh, legendary lighters cemented in UK culture. 🟨I’m unsure on my least favourite but I would say any any multipack plastic electric ones are usually up there (short-length piezo ignition mechanism). Terrible design and poor reliability. Also seem to run out quicker than most. Even broke one once just by lightly pressing the button. Affordable but unsatisfying. What’s your favourite?
