RTX 5070 + Ryzen 5 5600G

Right now im using integrated graphics but I plan to upgrade to a 50 series RTX graphics card. Aside from upgrading my PSU should I upgrade my cpu to a ryzen 7 too?
For cotext the games a intened on playing that would be 'intensive' are sea of thieves, deep rock galatic and minecraft with shaders

Try with the just the PSU and GPU and if you're not maxing out the GPU then get a 5600. You do not need the 5700x

What resolution and hz are you playing on? If it's 1440 or above and you're 120 or below fps, you can keep your current cpu. It might bottleneck the 5070 sometimes in minecraft at 100+ fps but it should still be fine at 60fps.
You can probably even get away with a 5070ti if you cap the fps at 60 all the time.

5600g should be enough for games you mentioned.
But ofc would be better if you can buy at least r7 5700x. 5700x + 5070 is a great combination.
