Planning FIRST international trip!

Hey y’all! Me and my BF (both 29yo) are looking to step out of the country (America) for the first time in June. Budget is probably around $3k total for flights + 4-5x night stay. We’re more so looking into all inclusive resorts to start, just to get a feel for intl’ traveling. Looking for a nice beach, good food and some entertainment/nightlife. Any recommendations?

This is going to be a tight budget if 3k is for both of you. IMO You’re restricted to the eastern hemisphere on that budget. Look into Cuba, Cartagena CO, Lima PE (super cheap rn because of politic situation but nonetheless doable, but I wouldn’t recommend if you’re not comfortable with travel). Costa Rica, Panama, Belize may have some affordable accommodations. Honestly, you may be able to do a cruise in the Caribbean for ~$600-$800 per and then cheap flights to Florida where a lot depart from. That’s all inclusive too.
