1) you see headlights you pull back in your place. You have no idea how fast a oncoming car is approaching.
2) That was the slowest attempt at a pass I have ever seen. You need to be going 20mph over the speed you are overtaking easy , a ticket is the least of your worries when passing. Its why trucks are basically always trapped behind the slowest vehicles. Unless we are empty/light or have HP to spare we arent going anywhere unless there is a huge hill or stretch where we can see at least a mile of clear road and nothing coming.
3) There should be a Law that if there are more that 15 cars behind you, they need to move right, or pull over and let them all pass. I have seen so many douchebags in beat up RV's going 30 under with enough cars behind them to fill a concert venue, a passing cop should be allowed to ticket them for creating a hazardous condition forcing people to pass.
NEVER SWERVE!!! Always keep your fucking lane!!! This could have ended with the culprit dead, trucker dead another trucker dead, who knows about the people behind the other innocent trucker. Hit the brakes AND KEEP YOUR FUCKING LANE!!!!
I just got my permit and it explicitly stated if opposing traffic enters your lane, you should make a controlled turn onto the shoulder and turning to avoid collision is always faster than stopping so always turn onto the shoulder.

Reread my comment and whoever wrote that permit is a dangerous idiot. Also, again, this almost turned into multiple casualties accident because of that swerving. You can invent a different scenario in your head in which you would gently turn into the shoulder LONG before what we saw in the video sure, but we are talking about this. Also, what is long before for you is not for another person, as we saw above, what you're talking about, potentially sets the person behind you on a head to head deadly collision. KEEP YOUR FUCKING LANE!!!

Not "small part" lmao. Russia is an European country, The most urbanized part is in Europe, the rest is bog forests and occasional smaller cities here and there. And no, they aren't culturally different at all wtf xD You might hate Russia, that's fine but this is just straight up WRONG.
That's when the problems with most of these small European Econo boxes that are very popular over there, they don't have the get up and go.
I'm not even going to comment on the triple pass, that's likely a combination of inexperience, poor habits, poor vision and not enough forward looking.
I've never understood how this is the truckers fault. The car chose to overtake the truck. No one told them to do it. It was their choice.
(Same with trucks in GA that get pulled over for driving in the far left lane right after driving past a sign that says no trucks in the left lane. Yes, the two trucks in the two right lanes might've been going 55 in a 65, but YOU chose to go over in the left lane. No one "forced" you to)
I think that depends on whether that far left lane is on I285 near I20. They keep those signs up until about 5 miles before that left exit. Cutting across 3 lanes of Atlanta traffic in about as many miles is ridiculously unsafe.
Both the trucks actually managed to make some space in between them, but this driver was idiot enough not to complete their dumb maneuver that they started
