What to do with 5k EUR?

Hi gents I sell some stuff an now holding 5k EUR Cash. What to do with that? Any idea? My first thought was: • Buy 1-2 solid Tools and rent them • buy garage and rent it (of course it cost more than 5k) • invest in a very small start up ( really don't know much about investing in small businesses)

If you havent got any other funds Id put at least 2-3k into the bank (usually you get like 2-3% on that) as an emergency fund for bad times (unexpected costs). The other money Id probably invest in myself to acquire some sort of certification or education. I dont think that renting out 1-2 solid tools is a good business modell.

A bunch of tarps and some gardening tools, and plant nutrients. Wait for people to leave their house during work hours, then climb the fence and tarp their lawn, flowers, whatever, remove them before they return home. Do this for a few weeks and their plants will be shot. Then advertise a local plant revival service, get paid to essentially give those plants some nutrients and stop tarping them.
