I'm pretty sure i've seen this exact post with some of these exact comments word for word here a few days ago, what the hell happened to that post? Because it's not being shown as having been posted on a different sub i participate in according to the other discussions and i've definitely seen this article and OP's comment before.

In fact, Hindus don't even care when lower-caste Hindus are killed by upper-caste Hindus in India, but they're suddenly posting this news all over subreddits to push the "Muslim bad, Islam bad" propaganda.

He was killed for blasphemy The offensive blasphemous statement in question? He said "All religions are one and we worship the same God" In response he was burnt by a lynchmob of thousands who recorded the incident on their phones and chanted Allahu Akbar

I'm like the least religious person I know too I just like ancient history. Abraham was the first person to say "we made a deal with God here's the rules." And everyone after that interpreted their own version of the rules. Now they all hate each other and we've had to endure 2000 years of total religious anarchy. I would love to study this time period, but from like outside of it.

View on Reddit #74100435

namikazeiyfe@reddit

It is only one particular religion that still punish/kill people for blasphemy and that is Islam. I.. I don't know why people can't just directly criticise Islam for it's barbarity and destructive practices without trying to lump together all the other religions which have since reformed and have moved away from such barbarism.

I mean, Evangelicals are pretty quickly heading in the same way. And you can’t really blame Islamic nations too much when this particular brand of Islam is what the west decided to preserve and propagate. You can’t look into history and see that for most of European history pre 1700s… the Islamic nations were generally more multi-cultural, advanced and meritocratic than the European Christian nations where.
View on Reddit #74127628

namikazeiyfe@reddit

>mean, Evangelicals are pretty quickly heading in the same way Are you trying to compare this murder with whatever the evangelicals are doing in the US, like seriously? >And you can’t really blame Islamic nations too much when this particular brand of Islam is what the west decided to preserve and propagate. So you're trying to tell me that it was the west who are mostly Christians that preserved and propagated THIS brand of Islam and not the islamic nations themselves who are majority Muslims? You're absorbing the islamic nations of the blame and instead laying it all on the feet of the West 🤣... What a crazy stretch

TokyoMegatronics@reddit

Yes. Which is you know, obvious? “You’re telling me the Christian’s in the west that colonised and controlled the entire African continent, Levant and Middle East deliberately installed radical islamists into the region they left so they would be easier to control due to the mass instability” Yeah, everyone knows this is what happened lmao. Again, I know it’s easier if you’re Islamophobic to just say “no they were always like this it’s just in their blood” but it’s really not the case.

>You’re telling me the Christian’s in the west that colonised and controlled the entire African continent, Levant and Middle East deliberately installed radical islamists into the region they left so they would be easier to control due to the mass instability You must be a poor student of history. These colonies ALREADY had radical Islamist in them before the coming of the Europeans. The Europeans didn't manufacture radical Islamism, Islam itself did. There have been radical Islamism even in the Qur'an, wahabism is a product of Islam itself, Europeans had nothing to do with it. I'm a Nigerian, you're fu€kin telling me that it was the European colonialists that installed Usman Dan fodio and encouraged him to start a jihadi war to conquer the entire area around the Niger many years before mungo park reached the Niger river? Miss me with that shit! Isis, ISWAP, Boko Haram, al qeada, Hezbollah, Taliban ,Al shabab etc etc were all a product of Islam, They weren't installed by an outside entity, they grew within their native areas. I'm the last person on the internet who you can gas light with that term, islamophobic. I live in Nigeria and I have seen first hand how destructive Islam can be, how barbaric its adherents can easily become on a moment's notice. I have seen them lynch a young girl and burn her to death exactly the same thing they did to this fellow here, all with the Claim that she blasphemed against the religion. I have seen them cut off the head of a trader in broad daylight and parade his head on the streets, The one who led that mob is currently the emir of Kano. We're currently facing a crisis in the country where Christians are being targeted by jihadists, so no, it's not isomorphic to call out the religion for being prone to churning out such extremity.

It is actually strange to a lot of people. They have been taught that India is full of uncultured, uneducated people. When it is the birth place of some incredible ideas and is a culture of vast historical significance and importance. Ruined by Britains invasion and occupation. Likewise the Arabic world was the birth of numeracy yet we are taught to believe they are thick. Western world doesn't seem to care about the historic culture and discoveries of different ethnicities. We're taught that they've achieved nothing and ignore our violent subjugation.
View on Reddit #74132030

Black_Prince9000@reddit

The damage colonialism does is far more than the simple "stolen wealth" honestly. For example, my state of Bengal was entirely self sufficient in terms of food production thanks to fertile lands. Brits came up, forced everyone to grow opium that they then sold to the Chinese during opium wars (this also causes the Bengal famine but that's unrelated here). You can imagine how easy it would have been for bengal to have been the greatest drug empire in the world after the Brits left and we became independent. Cause that's what these people have been doing for generations by now, the system is in place. Why shouldn't you as an elite simply replace them and enjoy the show? That's what haiti and so much of Africa has been going through. Churchill said during Indian independence how "Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles." I don't see this as merely snide remarks, but also a logical conclusion. With subcontinent as diverse as Europe, it's a wonder we aren't killing each other fighting over what little post independent India had. [Also the fucking borders they left behind, what the actual fuck is this bruh????!??](https://youtu.be/r-aIzkvPwFo)

Yeah it’s super annoying. It’s like >colonises and brutalises the East, Africa, India, China, Levant, Middle East >does nothing but propagandise about the savage “orientals” (even the Greeks did this when Mehmed I took Constantinople despite Mehmeds patronage of Renaissance and Italian arts), then the “Savage Africans”, then the “Savage Chinese selling opium to white English girls in dens in outer London” (literally we cried about white girls being addicted to opium and made plays about the “china man” with yellow skin, buck teeth and a long moustache, whilst we were snuggling it into China and breaking them to force them to keep buying it. But that is literally where the stereotype of a Chinese person comes from) >”wow these guys aren’t as well to do as us white folks in the year 2025 hey guys. Must just be in their nature to be violent. Also don’t mention the evil stuff we did to them for generations because it’s all in the past man and obviously has no bearing on today and I’ll think you’re blaming me, the white 23 year old from Northhamptonshire for the colonisation of India”

Good ol' Abrahamic religions. It's incredible that all it took was 1 very slow guy, eons ago, to have been so dumb he couldn't grasp the spoken language until he was well into his teens, at which point he went from nothing in his mind, to the intrusive thoughts that come with language, and he thought, oh that must be a deity flying high above me in the clouds guiding me and not my own inner dialogue. View on Reddit #74097772

ShvetaHuna@reddit

There were hundreds in the crowd that lynched the man in Bangladesh. Unless those hundreds are arrested, there won't be justice. In the case in Bihar, the motivation wasn't blasphemy (Hindus can piss on the Quran without it being blasphemy as they are Hindus and are not bound to Islamic mores); but as alleged — theft. Doesn't justify lynching (nothing does), but what is clearly demarcated between the two incidents is the religious angle, Muslims were shouting Allahu Akbar as they lynched the Hindu. Bangladesh has been an orgy of religiously motivated crimes which include murder, theft, assault and rape against Hindus, whom the Bangladeshis affectionately slur as Malauns.

View on Reddit #74160233

Irr3sponsibl3@reddit

Why didn't you respond to the earlier reply to your comment about the firebombing attack on the Palestinian family's home? I know you saw it. The settlers even came to the family's funeral afterwards and chanted "Ali is on the grill", Ali being a one year old toddler who was burned to death. Is that not malicious? It's clear that these vile, state-sanctioned pieces of shit relished and delighted in the slow murder of a child, and the pain his death caused to his family. Here's [another ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidnapping_and_murder_of_Mohammed_Abu_Khdeir)settler attack involving the abducting of a teenager, followed by beatings and lighting on fire with gasoline. Are you still going to insist that trying someone to a tree first is the magical ingredient necessary for a lynching to cross that moral threshold for you into the realm of disgust?

Nobody is saying that? But atrocities happen all over the world, and they deserve to also have focus on them. The Hindu minority in Bangladesh experienced a lot of horrors during the genocide in 1971. 8 million refugees fled Bangladesh for India during the genocide, 80-90% of whom were Hindus. With the regime change in Bangladesh and religious tensions being inflamed again, people are concerned about the violence and the civil unrest, and the potential refugee crisis that might occur. There are plenty of news articles on this sub, along with all of the other news subs about Israel/Palestine.
