Masthead rigging question

Greetings Brain Trust. Have a rigging question for you. I have two pins fore of the mast on my masthead. Currently the pin closest to the mast has a block for a spin halyard, and the furthest forward pin has my forestay and furler. I'd like to swap those so the spin halyard block is ahead of the forestay so it doesn't tangle or chafe. Would that be a problem from a rigging perspective? Or is there some law of the sea that says that the forestay must always occupy the furthest forward pin?
Thanks all.
