Devs who switched from one language to another, was it worth it?

I've been working as a .Net dev for 5+ years. Currently working as a Senior .Net Developer. I have a deep understanding of C#. Basic understanding of JS, Java, Python and C++. Chose C# because in Eastern Europe, it is in high demand. Now, I kinda hit the 'salary ceiling' for .Net Dev. Have been working for several outsourcing company but their salaries aren't good enough. This is a [screenshot from Wikipedia](https://ibb.co/68HvWW7). Indicating that, In Big Tech, no one other than Microsoft uses C#. Seems like it is time for me to move on to another language. It's been several months since I put my eyes on Go. Seems interesting. Question to people who have coded in different languages. How did it affect your career? Meaning, if I learn Go now, land a job, will I be a junior again? If yes, will the drop in salary be worth it?
