Take on Vitruvian West Apartments?

Open to hear alternatives and opinions on Vitruvian West Apartments. Saw a lot of bad google reviews but wondering if I can talk to someone real and recent about their experience. Relocating to a job in Addison and trying to live within a 20 minute radius.

I have heard mixed things but also talked to someone who moved in recently and said their experience was way better than the reviews made it seem. Vitruvian West definitely leans luxury and you are paying for location and amenities especially being right next to Vitruvian Park. If you like walkable areas and events nearby, it makes sense. If you want something quieter or more low key, there are other Addison options that might feel less busy. It really depends on what matters most to you day to day.

Talk to someone that’s been living there, new residents don’t count .

Is it that bad?? 🥲🥲 I live at the savoye, and I really do love it... But my lease ends in 2 months and I was looking at other units but they raised the price by a lot for all units 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Roaches . Car break ins . Drunks 24/7 . Elevators are down 24/7 .
Paper thin walls, stomping neighbors 24/7 . They charge you for ANYTHING! Read the reviews, they are not telling no lies. I’m so ready to move next month. I will not be renewing AT ALL. They only communicate through text .

I lived in the Savoye Apartments, sister to Vitruvian West, for 5 years before I bought my house 2 years ago. They were pretty much brand new when I moved in. When I first moved, it was extremely quiet and very nice. Over the years as the apartments became more and more populated, it got noisier. The only other problem we had was a fire in one of the elevators that knocked out service for a long time. Walking up seven flights for almost six months was HELL. Other than that. I felt safe and secure.

that sound's horrible. i hate living on the first floor but 6 months of 7 flights SIX SEVEN sounds like a lawsuit

Yo I’m looking to at this point I’m just a single dude and want to find a studio. I’m tired of paying $1600 for a nicer apartment really want to lock in my savings for a home soon

Honestly, I like several other communities near there even more. And I have been to this property in person so I have seen it first hand. I am an apartment locator here in town so i don’t want to publicly say anything negative about any community. As most have some sort of issue occasionally. That being said have u explored any of the nearby communities in Farmers Branch( minutes away and very nice with amazing specials. ) No specials currently at Vitruvian West. ( Which is strange to me as everyone else is doing something for their new residents. ) Anyway if u want some other great comparable properties either in Addison or if you want to consider Farmers Branch, as they need some love too, I believe you have others to see that are worth checking out. Send me a dm if you’d like some free assistance.

I have looked at Farmer's Branch but couldn't find anything that grabbed my attention. It too was based around 1500/mo
