How do you keep track of work on your project car?

I keep a pretty unorganized word document/journal where I write down what I got done each day, and the struggles/successes/frustrations i experienced. I also keep a running xcel spreadsheet to track expenses/purchases. Lastly, I Keep a corresponding picture folder that aligns with my daily journal updates. I'm effectively making a build thread but its just personal, not published. I might make a photo book after I'm done (like a shutterfly book you'd build to chronicle a family vacation or something). It's kind of annoying to keep it updated right now but I know in 15 years it'll be a blast to revisit the project. It also is a useful tool to show non car people when they question how in the world ive spent hundreds of hours on car project.
