🧐 BOTB Winners: Has anyone ever been able to find one on social media?

I've been playing BOTB's competition for a while and, like many others, I've never won. I'm aware they publish the winners' names, town/city, and a video of the surprise on their website every week. I understand that people might want to be private, but what has always felt a little off to me is the complete lack of a social media presence for these winners.
I've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole and have searched Facebook for the names of winners going back as far as 10 years, combining their name with the town/city listed, and I have not yet found a single one that appears to be a legitimate personal profile. Even for winners whose reaction video is very public and emotional, I can't find them online outside of the BOTB ecosystem.
I know some people choose to take the cash and disappear, but over a decade of weekly winners, you'd expect a few to have public profiles, or have friends/family mention it on social media.
My question to the Reddit community is this: Has anyone here personally won a BOTB competition? What was your experience like?
Did you actively delete your social media or make it completely private?
Has anyone been able to find a BOTB winner's social media profile (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) other than the company's official posts?
What are your general thoughts on the social media invisibility of so many winners? Do you think it's a transparency issue, or just a widespread desire for privacy?
I'm not saying it's a scam, but the lack of an online paper trail for a competition this high-profile is certainly curious.

Why / how have I not got top 20 when I am that close? Literally around 10 pixels away

There are nearly 50 million adults in the UK, if BOTB gave away one car every week for the next 50 years that would be a total of 2,600 winning people, thats 0.0052% of the population over the 50 years.. Thats why you never hear of any winners and very small wins like a PS5 are often not worth a mention. I play for free and I did actually win a PS5 last year on BOTB.

Your maths are terrible. First of all, 50 million people don’t play BOTB so the probability is higher than you’re claiming. Even a quick Google search says around 20,000 people enter a competition on there every week which dramatically increases the odds of winning. Also, far fewer people than that play for a certain car or play in a certain game, increasing the odds further. You’ve even admitted winning on there lol. Are you saying you won a prize with odds of just 0.0052%? 🤣
I think Open University are still doing Adult Maths courses if you’d like to contact them.
spO_oks@reddit
Maybe they do a reading comprehension class also
EarlofHell@reddit
They do. Maybe you should join.
Barbadelaki@reddit
How do you play for free?
Sensitive_Sprinkles9@reddit
All comps legally offer free postal voting limited I think but you ca enter for the cost of a postcard and stamp. So not entirely free.

Do they get extra money for going public,,, I don't understand, why so many people go public, sure 90% of people would not want the whole world to know they won large amounts of money , example, Lamborghini and houses, who in their right mind will go public...

The latest winner from Maidstone Kent has an active profile Media presence

Someone once won a car and botb came into my work place to buy it for the winner .. other than that I’d agree with you 🤣
dont-blame-spongebob@reddit
Why is this your only comment on Reddit ever?🤔
KrelbornCrypto@reddit
Used to work with a girl who won a lambo ~12 years ago

I’ve watched the ‘winner’ videos and they don’t feel authentic to me. I get they would be in shock when these are filmed, but dunno, felt rehearsed
Hot-Body-4244@reddit
They probably are rehearsed as likely the conteatant will find out first and a filming time will be set as they cant risk the winner not being home. Then they reenact their surprise.
Mb this one is a scam though, IDK
PrinceMooFTM@reddit
On your account you fill in details for someone else who you trust to be contacted to arrange the surprise. My cousin’s partner won a car recently and she was contacted to arrange the surprise to him, so it is genuine and actually a surprise.
PrinceMooFTM@reddit
My cousin’s partner recently won a very expensive car through them- that’s how I heard of botb in the first place 😅
Ok_Assistant_797@reddit
I actually found one winner and i txt him in facebook, he said he was playing for about 2 years . He won about 25k for 20£(+ 2 years of invesments 😅
flipguyy@reddit
Did you know the actual person who won the competition. I was doing a research and need to find a winner who have won these type of competitions.

It looks like you've written the pound sign (£) after the number 20, but it should be written before the number like this:
£20.^(I am an annoying bot, so please don't be offended.)

Someone one a car on my post round. I think competitions like botb and post code lottery it seems everyone winning but they dont show the 99.99% who don't win
Nickyboy130@reddit
The winners are all DEI narrative too but agree the winners are invisible to the real world
RadiantAir7512@reddit
Well I will tell you for a fact, that last week.I WON. Names on the site for proof I've WON, and I have been completely BLANK. NO replies to my emails, no contact from them and squat diddly. So I'm going to seek legal advice. Ive been playing this for years, had an email last year stating I'd come 1st in the HONDA competition and couldn't belive it. Heard nothing for 5 days so emailed them and they actually replied. They stated I was 3 pixels from the centre and another person, a woman in a dressing gown with missing teeth was 1 pixel away and won an.old ford focus ST. THIS SITE IS A SCAM and I will now look at legal advice into this company. UNBELIEVABLE

I play way more than I should and have always had a feeling im gonna win. It's definitely not a scam when you look at ticket sales but I've never known anyone who has personally won anything. Not even a scratchcard or the lottery. Not everything is fake.
SmokeySmokedASmoker@reddit
I won £250 from a £1.50 instant win draw. I bought 3 tickets so £4.50 to £250 not bad like.
StupidGenius91@reddit
I just won £25 tax free cash from free game credit about 2 days ago. Look how close my brother was to spot the ball this week! 😢
SmokeySmokedASmoker@reddit
I entered an instant win comp for £4.50 and won £250 tax free cash.
That was the only time I've played.
Different-Creme-8380@reddit
Someone within the community that I grew up in just won a car worth \~£70k. I don't normally look into these stuff but this got me commenting on a related thread 🤣
Nicebutdimbo@reddit
I don’t think any of the popular competition sites are a scam, the business model is sound enough to make a lot of money without having to scam people (they sell x times the value of the prize in tickets).
The only well advertised one I’ve seen that looks really suspect is raffle house. They are called raffle house but from what I can tell they never sell enough tickets so the winner just gets a fraction of the sales as a cash prize, ie no one ever wins the house or anything close to the value of the house
ameliasasa@reddit
I've always wondered this - I've only ever come across one person who seemed like a genuine winner but then disappeared into the abyss.

What the hell is BOTB
NobleRotter@reddit
Had to look out to myself. It's one off those prize draw companies like Omaze
