I’m baffled at how people get jobs so easily. How do people do it?

Sorry to annoy everyone with my long post. So I had a very bad time at school. Constant bullying and would dread everyday at school. I never bothered to listen in class or revise yet somehow I passed all my GCSEs. I left school at 16 to try and find work and ….. nothing. I applied to cleaning jobs, care jobs, warehouse and retail jobs and got rejected. Ive lost count of the amount of jobs I’ve applied for. I’m now nearly 21 and have yet to have a single job. I have no money and no friends atm. I don’t know what to do. Now everyone is gonna say I should’ve stayed in school until 18 or go to higher education but apparently they’re having a rough time as well. So I have no clue on what to do and what I’m doing wrong. Everyone says go volunteer or do charity work and I try and I’m still getting rejected. I’m hopeless that things will get any better and feel like giving up at age 20. I feel like a pathetic loser who is a waste to society and I want to do good for the world but no one apart from the army (only ones who accepted me) want to give me a chance. I’m eager to join the army and do something good for others and myself but I don’t know what I’ll do if I’m rejected. The current economy and job market is terrible and I am at a loss on how people get jobs. It was my dream to be an aerospace engineer or something space related despite not being very smart but things went downhill at the age 15/16 and I’ve been lost since. People are gonna act surprised with me not having a job but I would love a job. I want a job. I would do anything for a minimum wage 60 hour a week job but I can’t get that and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I literally get jealous at the thought of people doing 60 hour shifts in a warehouse. At least they get hired. I understand people are gonna make fun of me and berate me and tbh I agree with them. I’m just looking for advice and thought I would try and get advice here. How do people get a job in today’s job market?
