Just buy the mini shots and when the flight attendant is busy drink them

The little “nip” bottles. Take as many as you want but I think you need to put 4 or 5 in a zippy bag

This. People swear it's illegal to take alcohol on a plane. It's at worst against airline policy but they will never catch you. One dozen airline bottles => gallon ziploc bag => bottom of carry on bag Good to go I have flown wasted all over the country and world on very little money

Same. Last flight, i get a tonic water with ice from the stewardess, and when shes on the next row, i dump two into my cup and mix a drink. My seat neighbor was watching, and said “brilliant!” So i gave him a couple and he dumped em in his coke. Bring enough to share for extra points!

Not illegal to bring them on board, but definitely illegal to consume inflight. FA’s will enforce this rule if you’re being a dick so don’t be a dick and keep that shit under wraps.

Bruh just buy it at the destination. Impossible to bring anything over 100ml on a carryon. If its super special vodka just put it on check in

CVetta@reddit

Probably underage and would have trouble getting some wherever they are going

I'd flame you for asking such a dumb question but honestly you should just do it and learn the hard way to get some common sense slapped into your head. Or just fly first class and drink on the plane like a normal person.

turboboob@reddit

Did you know they serve drinks to the poors in coach if they ask nicely?

I just bring a bunch of Starbucks gift cards for the crew when I fly main cabin and they treat me like it's first class, just without the legroom and comfy seat 😕

It's fun because they love it, and i get mimosas 😁 Flight crews work super hard so they deserve some goodies.

We gotta make this more unethical tho. U bring already spent Starbucks gift cards and we're back on track lol

Ahh yes "normal" people always fly first class😂

AA often offers the upgrade for $100 if the flight isn't stuffed, plus if you fly enough you'll earn plenty of miles to upgrade for free. It's not that out of the question

Packing alcohol in your carry-on is not illegal nor against airline policy nor unethical. The only restriction is the TSA limit of below 100 ml, so you’d be looking at shooter bottles, however many will fit in a quart size bag which is like 8 maybe. If you’re asking about DRINKING your own vodka during a Southwest flight, well that is just dumb and the potential consequences far outweigh the benefits so I would classify it in the “only unethical to yourself” category

fender8421@reddit

And if OP absolutely must, then they should mix it into a bottle of vending machine soda or juice from the airport, away from their gate

The little 1.5oz bottles you can get at the store are perfectly TSA compliant just bring a few on the plane in your carryon and don't be stupidly obvious when you drink them Source: have done this several times

I bought a bottle of whiskey at the duty-free, then went to the bathroom and removed its wrapping. Flight from Canada to London. Proceeded to sit in the very back row and share the entire thing with some nice elderly British man beside me. "Somehow" the staff found out what I was doing. Didn't say anything to me. Got off the plane and was met by a gang of British airport police. Not allowed to get on my transferring flight.

If you're caught drinking the vodka you have committed a federal offense. Perhaps clarify what your intention is - carry or consume. The FAA regulation 14 CFR § 121.575 states, "No person may drink any alcoholic beverage aboard an aircraft unless the certificate holder operating the aircraft has served that beverage to them"

Pour it in a Starbucks cup and walk onto the plane. Why is this thread full of law enforcement?
View on Reddit #73090290

bella927313@reddit

They 100% make you toss your drink when you go through security.
View on Reddit #73090970

ben121frank@reddit

Yes but they have generally have Starbucks or similar after security
View on Reddit #73091080

bella927313@reddit

Sure, but you'd still have to get the vodka past security....
View on Reddit #73091520

ben121frank@reddit

Alcohol is not restricted by TSA more than any other liquid. You could take a quart bag filled with like 8ish shooters completely legally, no sneaking past required. Now drinking it on the plane ofc isn’t legal and as I said in my other comment to me the benefit is not at all worth the risk, but the security part is not the problem
View on Reddit #73091799

Brilliant_Reply8643@reddit

Yeah you put the shooters in your carry on

You can legit carry as many shooters as you can fit in your carry on fluid quart. Ill often throw a few in there to drink on the plane....just dont get caught drinking midflight. You could also just put it in a water bottle, throw it in your bag and hail marry it; I've known people who have gotten it through that way as well
View on Reddit #73091286

coldpornproject@reddit

Have you thought about seeking treatment?
View on Reddit #73091194

hysterical-laughter@reddit

Just throw a couple nips/shooters in your bag. No one will care. technically not supposed to drink your own alc on the plane, but as long as you aren’t wasted no one will notice

View on Reddit #73090784

hmmmpf@reddit

Yeah, either as many tiny bottles as you can fit in a quart sized baggie along with your toiletries or drink before you travel—gotta be careful, as they won’t board you if you are obviously intoxicated. The only alternative is to be on an international flight and buy in duty free. It’s easier to get weed on a plane than liquids.
View on Reddit #73089874

justmitzie@reddit

Just drink it in the TSA line.
View on Reddit #73089682

No-Bat3062@reddit

You bring as many nip bottles as you can per TSA limits and drink them without anyone seeing on the flight. Don't need to be unethical, it's easy.
View on Reddit #73089055

My-Lizard-Eyes@reddit

Yeah just don’t be blatant/stupid and get caught. Don’t do it in front of a flight attendant, don’t get drunk and disorderly. I guarantee they do not want to spend their shift being the “police” and dealing with that shit, so even if they saw it out of the corner of their eye, if you’re not causing issues I imagine they aren’t going to apprehend you and get you fined $15,000 or whatever. Maybe wait until they serve you your soda, and slip it in there. Bonus points if you bring the same as whatever brand they serve aboard the flight.
View on Reddit #73089430

yeastInfection81@reddit

You can fit like 12 airplane bottles in a quart sized ziploc which is completely permissible. No need for anything unethical.
View on Reddit #73089311

You thought about putting in your stomach? Don't even need to hide a bottle then.
