Should I complain or is it too late?

I got my hair done today and my hair dresser changed what I had asked for without asking me and charged me an extra 15 pounds?
I still got the cut I wanted but the way it happened means I was charged more, than I had originally asked for/chosen.
Essentially I have thick hair and she told me that it took longer than normal for her to do it, and before that she told me I should get a wash and some sort of different way to dry hair and I just laughed and said “when I get a better job I will” Since it’s 50 pounds, which for me is too much for a hair cut right now.
Yet when it came to paying, it turns out she had changed 50 pounds for the cut I hadn’t originally booked and that she had suggested while she was doing my hair, since it took longer than normal to do my hair.
She was with another staff member who seemed to agree with her and so I had been going to this hair dressers for a couple of years and never had this happen to me and I didn’t want to be that “annoying customer” that complained. So I paid but feeling frustrated and uncomfortable.
Now it makes me wonder if I should have stood my ground but I was tired and hungry at the time and I don’t really understand how the cuts are different anyway, only that one that I didn’t ask for, that she gave me, charges more.
Do I have grounds to ask for a refund? Or since I paid for it already and didn’t say anything while there, should I just leave it?
