Who has hopeful stories about elderly parents and incontinence?

My family are going through a nightmare right now where my very elderly Dad fell in his home and is now facing very limited mobility and (we just found out) double incontinence. I know this is a nightmare many people experience. At the moment I have no idea what his future looks like and my imagination can only come up with the most depressing scenarios, i.e. my Dad in a care home unable to get around and needing cleaned several times a day. I can't sleep for thinking about this and how his remaining years might be. There isn't much about it online - it's mainly urinary incontinence stuff. It's almost like bowel incontinence is a bit taboo or so difficult to manage nobody has anything positive to say. UK I need some stories to give us some hope.
