Is Cloudflare down again? Started receiving a lot of "500 Internal Server Error cloudflare" error messages now on various websites.

Developer had a dispute with NPM and decided to remove all of his packages from the platform. One of the packages was left-pad, an extremely simple function, but it was used by things like react and babel. Build pipelines broke all over the place.

I thought our corp VPN was having issues, spent 15 minutes trying to figure that out - but nope, it's just Cloudflare.

Out of curiosity how does your org handle this ? Like are major incident reports required etc ? I ask because zscaler had issues earlier this week completely out our control (and theirs) was EU wide . Management are so pissed with us , asking how do we mitigate this etc... My patience is running thin !

For things like Cloudflare? We throw it up on our status page and the support number and then send canned answers to tickets. Apart from that, incidents out of our control, not much that we do.
