I did a drop & hook today, the loaded trailer I picked up has the ABS light on, two rear marker lights out, and the tire pressure was low on one of the tires. I called road service & they basically told me to just take it like that since I’d be driving during the day. Something told me not to so I stopped at Loves anyway & had them check it out. They replaced 4 brakes on my trailer, fixed the ABS system, and put air in my tire since I was already there. When I contacted road service again to let them know I stopped they kind of gave me a hard time about it but I didn’t care because I’m the one pulling this trailer. After I left there was a weigh station 15 miles up the road, when I pulled in I got pulled over for a Level 1 DOT inspection. I am SOOOOOOO glad I went with my first mind and got all of that checked out. It would’ve been me paying all of the tickets and I probably would’ve been put out of service. I’ll always go with my first mind
