The replacement schedule for items in your bag

I have mostly rechargeable things. My get home bag gets recharged and checked about 2-3 times a year. My bug-in/out bags I.e. the rest of my supplies are checked/recharged about once a year. I only change out medicine. I have an alarm that is set once a year to go off and remind me. I take everything out of the bags, use it to restock the cupboards and then I use my HSA to replenish the bags. Most medicines expire after a year but are good after that just potentially less potent. The medicine in the bag is all over the counter stuff and gets consumed quickly. I also keep a "deep pantry"- very simply I have a few extra shelves available in my laundry room which is just off the kitchen and half of the cupboard is labeled 2026, the other is labeled 2027. I just started pulling down the 2026 cans and started eating them periodically over the last few weeks. Once it's cleared out I'll shift the 27 cans down and start adding 2028 which I already have a few of those cans mixed in with the 2027. It isn't a ton of food but it is another week for my family After we burn through our fridge and normal pantry in an emergency. Most of the other stuff isn't perishable so no need to worry about it. My get home stays the same no matter the season but my car gets gloves, hats, and an extra pair of snow boots in the fall in preparation for winter. I always forget to grab the snow scraper though! Haha.
