Was in an accident in California and was rear ended posted the rear of my trailer noticed not even a scratch on the DOT tape

If I was an owner operator probably would have but since it’s a company truck, I stopped that in the fact is it’s known Tesla’s have cameras I didn’t want to be charged with a hit-and-run accident, especially since he ran into me. I really didn’t worry about it. I just wanted to make sure that I did everything by the book I made the cop laugh his ass off first thing in the morning he said the rest of his day it’s gonna be great.

Good point, it is a tesla. But then again the amound of tesla owners who actually bother to put in a USB stick to actually save the footage is much much lower than you'd think.

At this point if the guy did have a camera it pretty much would’ve done more to hurt him then it would’ve hurt me because if he was in self drive mode, it would say that on the camera footage and then he would have no excuse in court to why his ass ran into me

I've been rear-ended twice, both in LA, and both times I chuckled when the officer asked about damage to the trailer.

Well, I think the cop laughed when the guy tried to say it was my fault that he rear ended me. The cop just laughed his ass off when the guy said that then he said he had video and the cop said I’ll give you a few minutes to find it, he came and talk to me. He was laughing the whole time he said more than likely the guy had it on self drive and that’s why the accident happened.

Man, I was turning down into a road. I actually thought that I hit the medium as I was turning if I didn’t look back to make sure I didn’t hit a sign or something. I never would’ve seen the guy car fall apart right there in the intersection.

lmao man looking at the photos again it’s quite impressive how the entire wheel assembly detached itself axle ripped from the boot, the control arm and the knuckle itself. that is nuts.

Their control arms are total shit. My 04 civic has beefier ones than the cyber truck.

Probably someone told me that the same suspension is used by their sedans that is used in the cyber trucks and to be honest when the guy hit me I didn’t even feel it. I did actually think I hit a curb. What made me laugh as he didn’t even scratch the DOT tape on my bumper.

Oh no, as soon as we got out of the car, the guy was pointing me, said it was my fault, even though he rear-ended me I just laughed at the guy and walked away, called the cops they showed up he tried to say the same thing to the cop, and the cop was laughing at him right in his face and explain to him you rear-ended him I didn’t back up into him.
