My heart stopped when I check my GPS and there was only a 6 minute buffer between my gps and 14 hour..before i left for this trip i had a good 3 hour buffer.. hit lots of traffic and even ended up changing my stoppingg point 20 min less than planned to allow more time. all good tho!! Definitely will plan this better next time lol! Whats the lowest you've hit on ur hours??

I've run my clock down past zero so many times I've lost count but of course always try to avoid it.

Rolled into a receiver right as the clock ticked to the last minute... 😅

Ooof🥲 watching that clock go down and you just make it is a relief

Amazon has me like this a couple times a month

Dang😭😭😭 my company has given me loads where I need to wait till like 2-5am for the appointment time.. I just go on sleeper at that point since I tend to get their early. I currently have a pre assigned load that the appointment time is at 5am.. I'll be there by like midnight or sooner so.. Just gonna sit and wait..

I definitely agree🙏 I love when I get all my hours down makes me feel productive 🤣 idky 11 isn't enough im trying to use all 14! But some days 11 hours feels like a 16 hour shift.. I recently went to do a drop off and get an empty to go to my next location i had to switch trailers 3 times because of issues like a door hinge being broken or a break chamber leaking.. I know its a minor issue but it quickly made me just sit in my truck for a good 5 minutes before turning around and getting another one🤣

Literally maxed my clock last week… signed off on the eLog with 0 hours 0 minutes remaining hahaha
Done this or close to it several times including just straight up going over my time. It is what it is

I get so stressed and tbh for no reason bc it really is it is what it is lol my husband got down to like 20 seconds one time.. im usually better at planning my time but forgot to take in traffic.. i tend to run during daylight hours so I get most if not all the traffic 😅

But honestly, what would you do if you ran out 2 mins from the yard? Closest safe haven is the yard. It’s not like the truck shuts off at 14 hours all though im sure they wouldn’t mind that feature.
Odds_Assumption@reddit (OP)
Very true I actually stopped at a Loves since I wouldn't have made it to the yard lol im Teams so my husband is gonna drive the rest of the way which is likeeee 40 minutes left! So I got lucky and if I have run out of time then get to the nearest safe haven and let my dispatch know
