I haven't priced them all but my dad reads the Ethan Smoak books (James Bond if he was self-employed and even less sentimental) and he only drinks fancy vodka. If you want to be really thoughtful then any of the triple distilled artisan ones (on masters of malt) or one from an unusual country - like Reyka (Iceland) or Haku (Japan). If it’s more of a practical gift then you can get a Ltr of Absolute on offer (around £20) usually absolute is a decent all rounder.

My husband is a vodka drinker, zubrowka bison grass vodka is excellent. He likes Finlandia too. Black Cow Vodka is a bit different as its made from milk!

White spirits people usually just like their spirit and their preferred mixer. It’s usually because they know their ratio between being cheap and not tasting awful. She’d probably appreciate her exact vodka of choice in a litre bottle.

Unless you are completely sure i would not buy a flavoured vodka, Ketel or Stolichnaya are good but if you go for the Stolli you might need some Bolly as well

Not a big fan, but my go-to choice for vodka is Finlandia Cranberry. It's much better than anything that I've tried and doesn't taste like pure spirit when you drink it
