What was your first post-colonoscopy meal?

Doing the second half of my Gavilyte-G jug now (230am), and pretty much hating everything.
Looking forward to a burger or something. Decided to start the liquid only stage on Saturday, so to say I’m hungry would be an understatement.

Bagel sandwich from Einstein Bros. It was glorious!

I had an egg & cheese bagel sandwich. Scheduling an early colonoscopy is the only way to go!

Heck yeah, I fully agree. 👍

Sushi! Or Lebanese.

My sympathies. My bowel screening came back positive recently, so I had to do a scope to double check, and the prep was horrible. They fed me the typical post anaesthetic meal at the hospital. My friend picked me up from hospital, and I didn't actually know what I wanted to eat, because everything sounded good. I think I settled on eating lots of different things I had in the fridge.
I got my first colonoscopy in my late 20s. I came out of the clinic, and for some reason I was craving a fillet-o-fish from McDonalds. It's one of the handful of occasions I've broken being a vegetarian since I was 18.

I got nothing. My appointment kept getting pushed back too. I didn’t get wheeled in until about 4-4:30pm. I went like 36 hours without eating and my wife completely failed me and got me nothing. All I wanted was a chicken kabob sub.

No bueno. I took the early appointment for 630am, just wanted to get in and out. But I’m doing full sedation, so we’ll see how that works out.

I had a small cheese pizza.

I go for a burger and fries most times, but have also done Mexican. Benefits of doing them annually is that I have gotten to pick multiple meals.

Yeah, the nurse said I’d be given something afterwards. Frankly, I wouldn’t turn an away a basic tuna or turkey sandwich.
