Is this movie more us or Gen X or... millennials?

Clearly the target demographic for this cinematic masterpiece from 2003 has to be specifically at people in and barely out of college, and it had a significant DVD run, which would put it in our wheelhouse. Yes all the actors are significantly older, but that's how movies work. I think this is life canon and only recently did I ever do "earmuffs".

I've never seen it. I skipped it because I can't stand Will Ferrell.

Yes!!!
PCU is definitely GenX... I'm 1977 and was barely a freshman or sophomore in high school when it came out. At that time 'Millennials' were still known as GenY and still in elementary school. And since I'm one of the oldest of Xennials... I don't think enough of us were old enough, so I revert back to my GenX roots here.

Late Xennial here... PCU was played on repeat on Comedy Central when I was in high school, so it's a part of my "timeline" or whatever too.

I was born in '81 and I don't even know what this is. I lean more on the Gen X side of the spectrum, so I'm assuming then, based on your if-then-else metric, this would be millennial fare.

Us. This was a movie I owned on dvd and quoted extensively. Todd Phillips’s follow up to Road Trip, another one of our movies. Add in Anchorman one year later in 2004, you have the trinity of most over-quoted movies of the early 2000s.

My buddies and I love this movie. I rewatch it at least once a year. We were all born between 82 and 85.

the rewatch value is high, perfect for our age group for sure

More us what? It doesn’t belong to any one demographic. I worked in a video store and rented it to all age. Mostly teens, college kids and a lot of adults. So everyone.
Maybe not everyone, it was rated R

It's a story of a bunch of solidly GenX guys... suddenly thrust into the world of Millennials... actually,'GenY'... Older Millennials... there's a big difference between those two groups.

This is Old School, yeah? I'm a '77, saw it once, thought it was okay.
