Recomendations for E-bikes

I been looking for an e-bike that I can use for my day to day, I have in mind buying the BASALT e-bike, but I don't know more about the quality, and whats the difference between the first version and the 2.0.
Also If anyone have any recommendations, primarily on cheap, long lasting battery and doesn't brake easily, and can be used everyday.

Don't get anything that isn't UL certified. Easy enough to find these days. It should be the bare minimum requirement for an ebike, wouldn't trust anything sold today without it.

I have a Velotric and it's been great, with excellent service and attention for the couple of minor issues I have had. y local bike shop sells and services them (check for locations near you), so if I ever need more help, there's a local connection.
It seems like Velotric, Aventon, Ride1Up, and Lectric are well-liked in addition to the more established (and expensive) Treks and Specialized and Gazelles and Terns, etc. I have no experience with the latter.

My Aventon pace3 has exceeded my expectations. From battery life, the electric motor as well as fitting in with other bike traffic has all been great.

If you're looking for cheap, long lasting, and unlikely to break, you should look at something used from one of the brands sold at a local shop. These will outlast the new junk Chinese "brands" sold online and they'll cost you a lot less in the long run.
