What's the best way to learn programming?

Hi guys, so I'm new to programming and would like to know how to learn programming the right way instead of memorizing bunch on syntax? Where can I practice the concepts? And where to find the project ideas?

Do you have any hobbies or interests? If you do then there are your project ideas. Build something related to the activities you are doing in your daily life. And use that as a way to practice whichever concepts you are learning.

I have gaming as my hobbies, so how exactly can I use programming in this field?

Write a game, make a mod for a game, create a Discord integration, write a bot (not recommended if there is a chance to get banned or worse), analyze your gaming data/stats/processes (a project for a data science), create a game overlay for whichever purposes, create a 3rd party game client (as long as it is allowed by the game itself), create plugins for the game (basically like mini-mods), create a plugin/mod hub, add a social gaming aspect to where it does not exist in your game, create a VR game, create an AR game.
How? Up to you to figure it out.

Best way?
Get paid to do a task. Few things motivate like money and since we can’t beat junior developers nor students (adequately) we have to resort to the carrot versus proverbial stick.

Please don't take this the wrong way but the search bar will answer this question much faster since it is asked on a daily basis in this sub.
