Help me get this build down 300€ or so please

Hey everyone,
I am helping a friend build his first PC. I have done it a couple of times for myself but at higher budgets so I'm not too aware of where it makes sense to cut cost in mid-range builds.
He has a budget of 1500€ or so, 1600 max. He needs everything, including 2 monitors, mouse/keyboard/speakers. No need to include Windows as we can get it for 10€ at a local store. We are based in France.
He would use it for web browsing and gaming, mainly LoL, some FPS (Valorant, Rainbow 6) and strategy games like Civilization and Total War. Also some Mount and Blade and games like that. He is aware that he might not be able to play everything at ultra settings with his budget.
This is what I've come up with so far. As you can see, I am a little overbudget and I need help to reduce it to the 1500-1600€ range. I have sourced everything from Amazon for convenience reasons, and so far the few elements that are cheaper elsewhere are marginally cheaper so I don't think it's worth the hassle. But if there is a very good offer for anything with another seller, I'm open to it.

I was debating whether to post this here or in r/buildapcforme , sorry if this is not the right place.

I'd drop to a 7500F/7600X/9600X, whatever you feel like, they are all quite similar. That's 200€ saving already. And then "compensate" that by going dual channel ram instead of single.
Can maybe save 10-20€ on a B650 Eagle AX.
SSD you can go 1TB and later get a big HDD for data.
I'd swap to 9070 for the better raw perf and more vram, but if you want nvidia for RTX and DLSS, keep the 5070. Same price.

Thanks, looks good!
Although I'm a bit worried about the CPU, isn't 6 base cores fairly low, especially for grand strategy games? That's why I put the 8 cores 7800x3D in the first place.

I don't play TW, but just checked and the newest game has a requirement of Ryzen 2600X which is almost 8 year old now.
Civ can theoretically use more core, but it scales real bad. More than 6 cores and you barely have any meaningful gains.

Check the first chart, the 9900X with 12 cores is merely 2 second faster than the 5600X whic has 6 cores and is 2 generation behind.
In general, not a lot of games can use more than 6 core. Multi threading is real hard to implement in programming.
