It's very clear her costume designer was a (straight) man. I could never get over her ridiculous look.

Ordinarily I’d say “this is probably just a fit issue,” but I think the materials read as unusually cheap. This is a rare miss for the show, I think it’s probably the best example of how the LotR-spurred exodus of bts talent hurt XWP.

I actually kind of dig her performance, and I’m not mad at the episode concept at all. Just the sorry Party City outfit and spiky 90’s hair, lol

Mavican had potential, especially if her hatred was more aimed at Gabrielle. Gabrielle needed an arch nemesis of her own.

But, that costume! 😧

And some of the writing was questionable. I don’t think it was necessary for her to explicitly shown sleeping with Ares. And it would have been good to resolve the episode without her asking Ares for help.
