I don’t “like” Israel but to act like Hamas isn’t stealing aid themselves is ridiculous and naive, I actually think Israel using local forces to implement order and security zones is way better than introducing more settlers and and IDF at least they’re locals a lot of residents of Gaza had grievances with Hamas’ governance Hamas was brutal on dissidents be it fellow Islamists or political rivals like Fatah or even fellow Iranian backed groups like the Sabireen movement which was attempting to promote the Shiite sect in Gaza, Hamas busted them, Hamas murdered multiple people affiliated with the legitimate Palestinian government and used it as an excuse to arrest and kill entire families, Hamas shut down a large Islamist rebellion too fearing it as a challenge to their legitimacy. Hamas is a brutal organization that subjected Gaza to nothing but authoritarianism and horrors of the Israeli war, Oct 7 was a suicidal mission that basically sacrificed a large portion of Gaza to stroke their egos and extra Iranian support. Hamas is the problem.
Silicon_Composite@reddit
the problem is Israel carpet bombing Gaza, targeting hospitals, schools and refugee camps. its Israel that is blocking aid and starving the people of gaza.
if Zionist Nazism wasnt so prevalent then none of this would of happened. it was the Zionists that engineered oct 7th by deliberately letting hamas in and getting the soldiers to stand down.

The problem is Hamas did the Oct 7th attack and they’re retarded if they didn’t expect retaliation they know Israel has brutal rules of engagement, they know Israel does not give shit, they know the US will unconditionally support Israel they know they fired the first shot this round. Israel likes Hamas because they are an easy group to demonize, they know they will resort to violence and justify their narrative more than the legitimate PA, this is why it’s happening in Gaza not the West Bank because Fatah isn’t retarded or an Iranian proxy that does whatever Iran wants.
Mead_and_You@reddit
Oh yeah, I always forget that history began on October 7th.
robotfixx@reddit
Yeah, it started over 5000 years ago, where Jews have persecuted, extorted, limited or bared from nearly every country in the world. Especially by Arabs
Colonel_Sharki@reddit
Try reading some history books you clown 😂
robotfixx@reddit
I’m not sure what’s incorrect about my statement but okay? (If you could specify what’s wrong do tell)
Crazy_Diamond_4515@reddit
it started 50 000 years ago when a Cro-Magnon bonked a Neanderthal
CalligrapherOther510@reddit
It didn’t which makes Oct 7th even stupider they know from past experience how Israel is. History started when Israel funded Hamas and backed Iran against Saddam Hussein in the 1980s and let Hamas take over Gaza by murdering people accused of being corrupt or Israeli collaborators.
robotfixx@reddit
So it’s Israel’s fault hamas attacked Israel?
Mead_and_You@reddit
Well, yeah, actually. If you keep a large population of human beings in an open-air prison for long enough, they tend to get a little upset about it.
CalligrapherOther510@reddit
And Hamas is complicit in running that open air prison. They are the prison wardens they purge political rivals, they subject their population to Israeli brutality, they are totally at the helm of Iran so Gazans can’t even control their own self determination without Iran signing off, this is exactly why there is an anti-Hamas movement being coopted by Israel.
Crazy_Diamond_4515@reddit
a large population of human beings
a totalitarian terrorist state, ruled by a terrorist group.

While crypto enthusiasts often discuss censorship-resistance and decentralization as protections against institutional control, this situation highlights why some people seek alternatives to traditional systems where power can be concentrated. No matter your politics, this shows why transparency and verifiable information matter in all systems - principles that blockchain tech was designed to address. This connects to why some value permissionless networks during geopolitical conflicts.
