The vegans can't keep getting away with this ...

Or people are just regarded.
arbiter12@reddit
His results are exaggerated, but it's not like you should be eat Mcd everyday anyhow.
idontknowjuspickone@reddit
Unless I see another documentary about it I’m not changing my diet
HamBlamBlam@reddit
I’m lovin’ it!
soiboi64@reddit
Wings4514@reddit
CrazyTownUSA000@reddit
You can watch Fathead and get in shape with McDs
jamiebond@reddit
You also shouldn’t eat nothing but carrots all day every single day for every meal.
If I made a documentary where I chose to eat exclusively carrots for a month and my health deteriorated people wouldn’t say, “Wow, I guess carrots are ruining our health.” They’d say, “Man, that guy was dumbass.”
blaqsupaman@reddit
Yeah it was an entertaining documentary to watch but it wasn't really accurate educationally.
AscendedMagi@reddit
there's a dude who's only eaten a burger from mcdonalds for like 50+ years and he's one healthy 60+ year old person you'll ever see.
blaqsupaman@reddit
Don Gorske?
RadiumShady@reddit
Him looking healthy does NOT mean he is healthy
Pulse_163@reddit
It's fat, it's not that nutritious, is REALLY FAT and possibly expensive depending on what country you buy it from... but there was a time where it was the only place available at night where i could get a meal and not worry about being sick the next day. They keep their kitchen and food extremely sanitary and I've never had a problem, not even once.
So if you have to eat something somewhere else other than your kitchen McD's is still the go to place for that, otherwise just cook your own food.
Trigger_Fox@reddit
They had a nice role back then as cheap fast food to eat on special occasions as a treat or when you had to eat food.. fast.
I personally loved it when i was a kid, but it always made me shit my guts out so i eventually stopped eating it. I haven't had mcDs in like 3 years, and wouldn't have them anyway since they got very fucking expensive for some reason.
blaqsupaman@reddit
Fast food in general, outside of specific deals, has gotten to the point you can spend just a couple dollars more to go to a restaurant most of the time.
blaqsupaman@reddit
It's an entertaining documentary, but the takeaway really didn't tell anyone anything they don't already know. Like, no shit eating nothing but fast food is bad for you.
Econmajorhere@reddit
Lived in Argentina for 6 months. Most food options were trash - pizza, sushi, Mexican etc. and very over-priced back then. Ended up eating steaks and beef a ton as it was delicious and cheap.
Ended up with fatty liver.
Everyone needs a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. McDonald’s (greatest restaurant chain ever) is not the problem.
sunder_and_flame@reddit
Fat dumbasses shouldn't eat out everyday but it's not a problem at all if you don't overeat.
ADAMracecarDRIVER@reddit
Watch Fat Head.
SufficientBreakfast1@reddit
it just made me really want a big mac
Reading_username@reddit
Those early 2000's bigmacs were something else. The modern ones really don't hit the spot quite as nice
blaqsupaman@reddit
For me they're just so much hassle to eat. The extra bun and meat tends to slide apart because of all the sauce and they put and insane amount of lettuce on it which gets everywhere. I'm more of a quarter pounder guy anyway.
TylerBlozak@reddit
You basically shot them out in 2 hours and have buyers remorse for the rest of the day
Narrow_Lee@reddit
Also gorged himself as a result of his 'supersize' clause which no rational person would ever do. Upon being asked if he wanted to Supersize the meal, he always had to say yes, and he forced himself to eat as much as possible of the supersized drink and fry.
HRApprovedUsername@reddit
Yeah people criticizing this seem to skip over this part. That’s like the whole thesis of the project (hence the name). It’s been a while since I’ve watched it, but I think the main complaint was over the pushing of unhealthy portion sizings.
The_Third_Molar@reddit
McDonald's stopped asking to super size after this documentary.
blaqsupaman@reddit
Yeah they took away the supersize option and never brought it back and most chains with an equivalent followed suit (extra large/king size/biggie size). They also started trying to have more healthy options like salads and the option to get milk and apple slices instead of soda and fries with happy meals. Except Wendy's, who know what they're about and introduced the baconator. Which was based.
blaqsupaman@reddit
To be fair, he also had a rule that he could only supersize if the cashier asked him. I think he was trying to make a point about them upselling. Which was a dumb point and a dumb way to make it.
jxl180@reddit
I don’t know a soul who didn’t supersize when it was only like 35¢ to upgrade. When people got McDonald’s to be fast and economical, you can’t turn down the economics of way more food for barely more than a quarter.
noconverse@reddit
This is like the 3rd post about this guy I've seen in the past 24 hours. Is it the anniversary of his death or something?
dr_strange-love@reddit
I had a writing teacher that made a whole semester- long syllabus based on the topic of how modern food and farming was bad. She was so ignorant and biased that when she found out that meat is packed with "deadly" CO, I had to explain how it keeps the meat fresh and inhibits spoilage and is non toxic to eat, and was not a conspiracy to kill people. She was also dumb enough that the class figured out we could waste the first 10 minutes of every class talking about last night's episode of American Idol.
Practical_Trade4084@reddit
those who can, do. those you can't, teach
SpaceBug176@reddit
Why is deadly inside quotation marks
dr_strange-love@reddit
She thought that since people can die from breathing CO, that it is poisonous to eat.
SpaceBug176@reddit
Ah, I missed the "I" right after it, so I thought she said two contradicting statements together.
WintersbaneGDX@reddit
Not directly connected to this, but from the same era and genre:
Fuck Michael Moore
Seriously, fuck that wheezing piece of shit.
He makes documentaries of "hot takes" that any rational person would largely agree with. Only shows one side of any argument, doesn't cite sources, abuses cuts and edits, and presents a thesis that doesn't actually express an action point. Commentary never rises beyond "Dubya Bush bad" or "Too much guns".
College students choke on his cock and balls and keep him relevant for literal years because they've never taken the time to watch actual documentaries.
Fuck that fat shit head.
Isneezepepsi@reddit
Micheal Moore is like ground zero for performative white guilt. That cartoon from bowling for columbine is so cringe inducing
orangutanDOTorg@reddit
He suckled from the tear of the master, Michael Moore
MavZA@reddit
He also abused substances I believe. I stand to be corrected, but I believe he did some coke here and there recreationally.
bostar-mcman@reddit
"leave the multi-billion dollar company alone!"
Zachary_Spaghetti@reddit
To be honest, I could never understand the recent hate train for this. Like even if this was all doctored and pretty fake for the most part… good? It teaches kids to stay away from a mega corporation selling you shitty poison food. You should be eating a lot better than McDonald’s anyway. I can’t see this as a bad thing, McDonald’s is terrible.
Timekeeper98@reddit
It’s not about the result, it’s about how they obfuscated details and evidence to prove their point.
His alcoholism destroyed his liver, and they blamed it on fast food after just a week or two of eating only it. Plus, they tried using the ‘documentary’ to sell his girlfriend’s fad diet bullshit.
Wiggie49@reddit
Anon Nov 29, 2025: Look what this guy lied about, he was lying about how bad McDonalds can be! HE WAS AN ACOHOLIC! MCDONALDS IS GOOD!

Then later admitted to sexually assaulting women who worked for him, and acted like owning up and apologising somehow made that ok.
Dude was never a good man.
Wham-Bam-Duel@reddit
The only good thing to come from this movie was the fact that they used the "ROCK AND ROLL MACDONAAALDS" song.
