The one I’ve got (17.5 for my bastard 49) had bore drilled more than 1mm off the center line. AIM took it back with no issues, of course, but after looking at it in person I wouldn’t purchase one even with 100% insurance they are ok.

1/2x28 is right hand threads, 13.5x1 is left hand. when using a suppressor, the suppressor likes to “walk off” on right hand threads. left hand the can isn’t going anywhere because instead of “walking off” it “walks on.” when a can “walks off” you are more likely to get a baffle/end cap strike. the threads on left hand are also stronger but not by much.
