Getting my Troopy build out. Would anyone have a good recommendation of a solid 12v water heater that is not as expensive as the Duoetto MK2. Especially since I need to ship it from Australia and pay duties. I’m in the UAE

I have been looking into warm water for similar activities too. Honestly just thinking I'll go with a cheaper bag/container and sprayer and then boil a pot of water and mix with ambient temperature water for lukewarm warm shower and cleaning purposes. A lot less to mess with and purchase...

I’m planning for trips that may last 3-4 weeks. Maybe even the double. It will include cold places so a warm shower is maybe a luxury. But it’s something that will make the journey more enjoyable so I pulled the plug. I purchased the Duetto MK2. 500 USD so not cheap.

Very late, but how did it go? How was the duoetto? Worth the purchase? I’m debating getting one atm so could use more input from people with experience!

The Duetto is working perfectly. I decided to connect it to 220V only. The logic is that i rarely want to heat water if I’m low on power. The thermal losses are so big so it doesn’t make any sense to heat water on 12V
