I have this exact gun and a Browning Buckmark Camper. I had to add a rail to the Buckmark. Both of these guns are fun to shoot and deadly accurate @ ten yards. Cheap ammo everywhere in the .22 flavor so it's no big deal to shoot 3 or 400 rounds. The Buckmark is a pain to take apart and clean. The 22/45 is a breeze to take down for cleaning.

I did get the 22/45 for the threaded barrel since the Buckmark version I have is not threaded and the threaded barrel cost big money. I bout a Tacsol suppressor that I hope will arrive in January since it's on hold until January 1, 2026. I wanted to get Bowers Bitty for the 22/45 but dang, it's just so much more expensive and from what I read in testing, it's not that much better.

This gun is a great deal at the listed price point and fun will be had for sure.

Academy has the Buckmark with the threaded barrel and pic rail on sale for $349.99. This is a great deal actually.

I am happy the TX22 is disrupting the market.

The lie of "up to 30 days" is an issue. The FTC rule about shipping things within 30 days or obtaining permission to exceed the time period is an issue. Them being a bag of dicks is an issue.

No, they're terrible.

They indicate it will take "up to 30 days" for the order to arrive. What happens is 30+ days go by, they still haven't submitted it to their dropship distributor, you poke them about it and they finally submit it. It then gets split to 3 different warehouses who take their dear sweet ass time packing their part of your order (but print the shipping label immediately), and send it out via the slowest FedEx mule cart available. So you're looking at ~2 months if you poke them at precisely 31 days (they tell you to fuck off if it's <30).

Oh, and communicating with them is like some 1860s letter writing shit since they don't have a working phone number and they take days to respond to an email.

For the $12 more it will cost to buy from the next cheapest dropshipper, go elsewhere. The experience feels like a Pinzi Scheme where they use new customer money to fulfill old orders and you're praying you don't get left holding the bag. There's a reason they're blacklisted from r/GunDeals.

The crazy thing is I’m such a cheapass that I’d still be fine with it if they had any intention of filling orders but half the time they’ll leave shit out (usually the shit you wanted most) or they’ll just refund you after 2 months with nothing to show for it. The first couple of times were straightforward (label at 31 days, received in a week or two in full) but they’ve managed to do worse in the past year or two. A lot of dropshippers on the gundeals site are in the same price range these days if not a little cheaper so I don’t see a reason to gamble on if you’ll get what you’re wanting

Dack is rarely if ever the cheapest option on gun(dot)deals. There are usually plenty of places with cheaper prices that ship within 5 business days. Absolutely no reason to ever order from Dack and wait 40 days while the owner earns interest on your money before even placing an order with the same distributors everyone else uses.

Haven’t shot this model but I use the Lite model all the time at the farm. ColeTac makes a sweet chest rig that fits the gun with optic and suppressor and I’ve smoked many a rabbit, snake and squirrel with it. Great suppressor host and super reliable.
