Not sure what it is but I love watching those back wheels touch down
skyliners_a340@reddit
Can I distract you? A330 does it better.

had about two hand full of landings in a 380 (as a passenger) and all felt like this looks.
Kookanoodles@reddit
They are so smooth and quiet in flight. You feel like you're on a bullet train
that_dutch_dude@reddit
it helps a lot that its so big and they generally only allow the best pilots fly the 380
Ok_Sock_3257@reddit
Is a smooth landing more a function of pilot skill or plane? Anecdotally, in my travels, my Airbus landings seem to be much less jarring than my Boeing landings. Coincidence or a pattern?
chickenfries44@reddit
That's a chemsmoke
FAJStracker@reddit
Boiling the sky! Steaming the clouds.
SkinEmbarrassed7129@reddit
The 747 looks way better, this plane is just so boring like an appliance.
the_silent_redditor@reddit
Ur an appliance
SkinEmbarrassed7129@reddit
u made bc i find the A380 ugly lol you need therapy
PilotKnob@reddit
When the temperature/dew point spread is negligible.
Logical-Let-2386@reddit
A380 so big it has its own weather.Â
ronerychiver@reddit
The people sitting over the wings thought this was a Cat III approach
virilixe@reddit
Even the atmosphere has to make room for this thing.
LiveNotWork@reddit
I was once in an ethihad abu dhabi to US DC. The flight landed so smooth I didn't even realize it landed and was waiting for that jerk
ManQu69@reddit
Nice landing.....
LiveNotWork@reddit
It's in reverse. That's why it's soo smooth.

runfayfun@reddit
Serious question… is the amount of vapor analogous to the amount of lift being generated?
Swan2Bee@reddit
it's related to the drop in pressure above the wings as well as localized relative humidity. So to some extent, yes.
obefiend@reddit
Look at that chemtrails /s
sabretooth47@reddit
That's the plane releasing all the leftover poisonous contrail chemicals!

Beautiful I'm flying Lufthansa end of December to Europe
wellhead202@reddit
That’s a cool clip, nice landing
Taxus_Calyx@reddit
Looks like light and variable winds, so yeah.
Leading-Loss-986@reddit
It always amazes me that so much kinetic energy can be dissipated with so little chaos. Aviation is just too cool!
Gramerdim@reddit
op clearly never seen or touched this
Dracogame@reddit
A380 out there aura-farming
a_scientific_force@reddit
That’s not a vapor cone.
TobiasVdb@reddit
So most pilots are commenting on butter smooth landings in msft as not ideal, you need a little force to clear icing, trigger internal sensors and whatnot.
Given that, was this one ok? Or too smooth?
Slow_Description_773@reddit
can somebody explain this phenomenon please?
ddwood87@reddit
An airfoil is designed to stretch out the air as it passes over top to lower the pressure and generate lift. Moisture is held in the air with respect to temperature and pressure. When the air is stretch over the wing, water can 'wring' out of the stretched air due to a sharp decrease in air pressure making it condensate.
LZ114514@reddit
What a smooth touchdown
mpg111@reddit
pretty big boi

Would be nice if OP could cite a source or at least credit the photographer for these videos they keep posting.
daevl@reddit
nah, pure karma farming.
Azzuro_1@reddit
That touched down like a butterfly with sore feet.
Professional_Act_820@reddit
Awesome video BTW...nice to see landscape and properly framed!
Professional_Act_820@reddit
That's a vapor cone..."because it was passing through the speed of sound"
blackbeardair@reddit
beat me to it by a minute. . .
Professional_Act_820@reddit
lol..."but you can't tell it's going the speed of sound because its in slow motion" ..."and so big it just looks slow"

I love that they're so big they just say fuck you to the air. Turn into water and get out of the way bitch!
