I watched this a lot growing up and it still holds up as a really great movie!
Aesthetically beautiful (though , is EVERYTHING made with glitter?!) and Curry as the devil is just the cherry on top.

Mia Sara's career falloff is so bizarre. She was in a huge hit with Ferris Bueller and then just downhill from there for no apparent reason.

I loved the original and it shaped my youth in the 80s no doubt. but the director's cut with the alternate soundtrack was an amazing alternate experience! totally different. the original with the tangerine dream ost was a movie adventure... the DC with the fantasy ost was just amazing.

My inability to shake my stupid crush on Tom Cruise is because of this goddamn movie. For years and years, I'd be like "nah, he's too crazy now" and then he'd make another movie and I'd be like "...yeah but..." and return to being a little girl, glued to the TV screen while watching this flick.
God I love this movie so much, though.
