For those who have a cheaper diesel heater, has anyone found a good upgrade controller that has Bluetooth and the ability to adjust for elevation through a secret menu?

I purchased a cheap Vevor DH that said it adjusted for altitude and never adjusted. I did see it once go from 0 meters to 1 meter and I live at 8000ft (2400m). The DH would run rich and then overheat, throw a error code and shut down. The DH came with a 3-button controller. I did end up replacing the controller (went with 5-button) along with control board and it came with a remote. No bluetooth connection and was purchased via Alibaba so no instructions. The new controller does allow for manual tuning and I have done that and the DH now works at altitude without shutting down. That was a year ago when I did all of this and certain the same product won't be available but you should be able to find something on there.
Here are some links that could help locate a tunable controller along with how to tune:

I have an Hcalory that comes with an app, and a small keychain type fob. Haven't tested it in very cold weather or high altitude, but it does state it adjusts automatically.

Lots of them adjust for altitude automatically. The cheap Vevor I bought years ago has that functionality.

I’ll have to look. A buddy of mine is borrowing it at the moment. I’ll update post when I get it back
