Spotted on my way to see family

I didn’t know DeLoreans came in orange. 🧐

So, is it just me? Am I confused? This is an Oregon plate, Douglass fir and all. State DOT sticker on the bottom right. I'm all for the Hill Valley Preservation Society.
BUT THERE'S NO LICENCE PLATE NUMBER. What the actual?

It was removed. Likely with an IA photo editor.

I suspect the plate # was blurred/removed to protect the innocent.

For reasons I cannot possibly remember, I loudly exclaimed, “1.21 gigawatts!” at dinner tonight, to general confusion and incomprehension. Long story short, my kids and I will be watching Back to the Future very soon so I can fill this tragic gap in their education.

I do this all the time! Anything that even slightly connects to electricity or reminds me of Doc triggers it.
I also tell my (now mostly adult) kids there's no crying in baseball. For 25 years they haven't been able to get away from my 80s and 90s movie references.
Now my youngest has started shocking me by singing along to Elton John, Roxette, Bruce Springstein, and even The Beatles. He says him and his friends listen to 70s and 80s music all of the time. It could make a grown man cry.

Lone Pine Mall!

We have 2 ponderosa pines directly behind our back fence. I was calling it the Twin Pines area for almost 4 years before I realized where in my mind I was pulling that from.

When I learned about the tree and the name change.. mind blown that I never caught that

I'm so proud of Oregon a times.
Earlier today I saw a blue Geo Metro that was painted to look like the TARDIS. Then I went to Thanksgiving dinner and witnessed several teenagers in my family quoting Atlantis, Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber, and Back to the Future. Now, this. My day is complete.

It's heartwarming to know that a fellow Oregonian is out there keeping the dream of the 80s alive
