Quick one nighter near Greenwater, WA. I've really been enjoying fall camping lately. The diesel heater definitely helps lol

Cool pics and nice rig! Thought that looked more northern, my area is St Helens

I haven't been able to use my heater yet, but I have an FSR and the same type of heating duct. How are you keeping it attached inside the tent? I know the FSR has the draw string to attach it. Is that all you use to keep the tubing attached?

I ran the black tubing through and attached the vented end cap, it fits tight enough that I don't need to even tighten the draw string

Perfect. That's what I was wondering. I have the same cap on mine, so I'll just use that. Thanks!

As much as I love my 4th gen. My old 2.5 gen will always have a special place in my heart.
blurfgh@reddit
You think I’d need 37s for that trail or are 35s ok?
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
Atleast 40's, I barely made it

I only have an SR5, so no lockers. Think I can make it?
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
Not without the 4th gen seat shocks

Hanging the heater on the tire is an interesting approach. I've made do with a 12v heated blanket down into the teens.

Better setup with the diesel heater than me so kudos for that. My tent doesn’t have a heater inlet so I just can’t zip my tent up all the way.

Lovely rig!
Just a thought: I use a backpack cover to make my heater rain resistant, super compact and no setup required.
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
Does that mess with intake at all? Figured it would suffocate it
Internet_and_stuff@reddit
I just have mine hanging down, water can’t get inside if the end of the tube is lower than where it meets the heater.
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
Ahh that makes sense. I'll have to try it, vs the shitty Home Depot lid lol
Idontworkhere67@reddit
What kind of hester is that? Been thinking of getting one for my second gen for the cold canadain winters
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
Vevor. I'd suggest getting a newer style tho, the exhaust coming out is annoying, which is why it's dangling from the ratchet strap lol
choperty@reddit
Awesome truck I love it. Is that a Vevor diesel heater? Been looking at those and debating on buying one myself.
Warm-Weight3565@reddit (OP)
It is. Been working well but I'd suggest a new unit. The exhaust coming out the bottom is annoying, which is why I have it dangling from a ratchet strap lol
