Whenever rewatching Robinhood: Men in Tights, i pretend this scene is just a holodeck program for Picard.

It’s fun seeing him in the Shakespearean movie collection, The Hollow Crown.

I recently discovered this and really enjoyed it. Enough to start a rewatch right away!

It’s SO GOOD. I mean, Branagh will always be King Henry to me, but Hiddleston is Hal, through and through. Plus David Suchet! And Ben Wishaw was amazing. It’s a really well-done complication of the histories. Watch it? Make it so.

Richard Lewis on Trek would have been wonderful.
Zorpfield@reddit
Would he have been a doctor or a counselor ?
BeavStrong@reddit
He should have been the guy leaving a session with Troi whenever one of the main cast went to speak with her. Just a random, middle aged exo-botany LT having countless midlife crises like an incurable Barclay.

Perfect.

Hey, if it is a holodeck program at least it would be a Frenchman playing a Frenchman XD
Darth_Annoying@reddit
A British actor playing a Frenchman playing a Frenchman who was a British King.....
Meatloafxx@reddit (OP)
But unlike some other King Richards, he can speak with an English accent 😏
Marquar234@reddit
English accent. Was that what it was?
medicus_au@reddit
Richard I was more French than English so it actually makes sense.
Historyp91@reddit
Heck for such a iconic British monarch Richard I barely spent any time in England during his entire reign and really just viewed the kingdom pretty much as a means to aquire revenue for his wars (and to pay his ransoms when he got captured)
Darth_Annoying@reddit
He didn't even speak any Englush. He primarily sooke Occitans I think

From now on, all bathrooms will be referred to as JOHNS

I do the same thing when I watch Patrick Stewart in A Christmas Carol.

Oh shoot I havent seen this movie since it came out and I did not remember that Patrick Stewart was even in it
ShutterBug1988@reddit
It's my favourite movie and I still forget until this part
TheClosetIsOnFire@reddit
I don't remember that movie that well, but I've just rewatched the robin hood TNG episode and I genuinely had to think for a few moments to figure out what you mean, I thought it was something from that episode
ShutterBug1988@reddit
Sir! I protest, I am not a merry man!
medicus_au@reddit
Makes as much sense as any other for that movie

Or Q being funny again

"Make him part of the tour!"

“Yes, and Maid Marian’s scrabbling around to get them back on again, but even before she can get her knickers on, I've seen everything. Yeah. I've seen it all.”
succubus6984@reddit
For a long time I thought it was. 😂😂
Icy-Pirate4830@reddit
The most hilarious thing for me would be Larry David as the king 😂

It’s good to be the Captain
