If they want their inferior product to be priced same as SKH industry leader, why can't I ask my salary go match the president?

The previous gen was inferior. There is no indication that their HBM4 is inferior.
Again, they can price it however they like. Nvidia might not buy it, but they can set it anywhere they wish. If you were in control of your salary you could also set it to anything you like. Whether you get paid that much is another question.
