If you have astigmatism go with the uh-1. I have both uh-1 and xps2. Like them both but I get a fuzzy reticle with the xps where the uh-1 stays crisp. If you’re not going to use a magnifier I prefer the uh-1.

No ownership experience with the XPS2, but based on internet lore, the UH1 has night vision settings, and won't delaminate but may suffer from parasitic battery drain when off. Eotech will fix the delam for free up to a point and then for a fee after. You can run the UH1 with a bulldozer, and Vortex will send you a new one. The Eotech looks cooler...

I like the UH1 I have so far. Bought it during a recent sale for $380. I like my Romeo 8T gen 1 (refurb) a lot better though, got that for $500.

I've gear bad things about the refresh rate, like you can see flicker when quickly changing targets. Do you notice that?

I've never used it for 2/3 gun/dynamic shooting, etc, but it can definitely be seen when moving it around quickly. I doubt I can shoot and move fast enough for it to matter to me. Would it affect someone who actually can shoot well and trains a lot? Possibly, but I'd guess probably not much.
