Bottom isn't great I agree, the top is perfectly fine imo, except for the stickers.

Mind you, I'm a Lego fan, I want to see some studs. If it's too smooth, I may as well get a kit, or print it. PS, I am working on a 3d printed Defiant which is about 50cm long.

I feel super mixed about this set. I am gonna buy it actually, and while I'm not a fan of the underside of the saucer, and the deflector looks off compared to the real model, but imo doesn't look off, like if you show it to a non fan, they will understand the saucer, but never figure out that the deflector is a different shape.

I love the minifigs, and I think it will make a fantastic display piece.

But I also truely dislike how it's launched. This trend of offering GWP's that people really want. In this case a completely unique minifig that can't be made out of other parts, even if you get another command uniform, you won't get her face. And then there is also the stickers on the shuttle, making this something I do not want to miss out on. But yeah, I truly dislike how this is being done, and it also makes it that I can't wait for a good deal to drop, which I usually do with Lego.

So while I want it no matter what, I didn't want to buy it tonight, I just feel like I have to because of the shuttle, I would hate to miss out on it.

I expect Crusher to be worth most from this set, excluding Ro from the GWP.
The simple reason is that people will want to add characters for all sorts of projects, and you only get 1 science uniform, while getting 2 command and 2 operation (not counting Worf due to his sash)

I think plenty will also want an extra science uniform for Troi, especially since I personally think her clothing is the worst of them all, it simply doesn't match the clothes she wore (colours are off, and she had 2 tones), plus imo she looked better in uniform.

Neither have I, at least from Lego. I don't know how exactly their purchasing is set up. My concern is how they have their inventory system set up. As in, if you add it to your cart and have XX amount of time to purchase so that unit is taken from the over all availability during that time, OR if its literally first come first serve, the inventory goes as the transactions are completed.
