bro, what? You just made a normal ass sandwich. Maybe a bit too sugary for me, but I remember slamming these as a kid all the time because it was easy and sweet and Nutella was advertised as being kinda healthy, iirc.
Fartpoop800@reddit (OP)
The banana was just grossing me out with the white bread i guess, it was decent once I smoked though
exasperatedbean@reddit
Yeah definitely doesn’t have the presentation 😂 but that looks gooood
Region_Fluid@reddit
There’s literately a common sandwich that’s this but with peanut butter instead of Nutella’s I don’t know if it belongs here.
GothicaSweetHart@reddit
The Elvis sandwich is a classic
creatyvechaos@reddit
Isnt that the one with a full jar of pb, full jar of jelly, and a full pound of bacon on the thickest bread in the world?
Sinnistrall@reddit
That's a relative of the Elvis sandwich, called the kingslayer sandwich
LittleNinjaXYBA@reddit
That’s shitty food
Kundalini_electric@reddit
I'm trying to eat healthier, is banana with peanut butter on a sandwich healthy?
creatyvechaos@reddit
Eat in moderation and learn how to balance what you eat. This question of "is it healthy" is entirely subjective. Find what works for you, balance it, and stick with it.
siverted@reddit
Depends on the bread and the kind of peanut butter. And the amount of peanut butter. Peanut butter is a good source of protein and heart healthy fat and can help you feel full. But you don't want one with a bunch of added sugars or hydrogenated oils. Moderation is key.
_mews@reddit
It kinda is! Peanut butter is good for proteine and extra calories. Banana is banana.
White bread is not healthy but you could use full grain or rye bread

That's my pre-gym breakfast when I have time. Love it. Definitely fuels the lifting too.
stonk_fish@reddit
Giving OP credit for the shitty execution of something that is both super easy and classic to make/eat.. torn bread, uneven spread, uneven sized chunks, uneven quantity of banana..
Fartpoop800@reddit (OP)
Thank you I am very proud of how shittily i put food together
_Rasputina_@reddit
I fear this is a completely normal snack/meal, hardly shitty at all!
Fartpoop800@reddit (OP)
My mother asked me what was wrong with me for making this
BiggieSmalley@reddit
I have eaten literally this on many an occasion
GothicaSweetHart@reddit
Well your mother was probably around when Elvis was chowing down on his peanut butter banana sandwich though.
Fartpoop800@reddit (OP)
My mother was born after he died
angry-key-smash6693@reddit
Wrong sub my guy. Looks appealing and is far from unusualÂ
ori_galactia@reddit
I call that the BNBNB. Bread nutella banana nutella bread sandwich
evilforska@reddit
Add mayo, then well see
EmergencyGrocery3238@reddit
Wrong sub
English_Fry@reddit
Why is this on this sub? Nothing about this is shitty other than OPs opinion
presidentkokoro@reddit
That's a great snack! You can also do peanut butter banana on one side, and Nutella banana on the other. Now, if you want to go bananas, put a little bit of grape or strawberry jam in the middle.
When I was younger I used to eat this stuff all the time, I still make one every now and then.
TryToFixMe1@reddit
What this is a perfect snack
Spiritual-Bread-2428@reddit
I used to eat this all the time as a kid
FroggingMadness@reddit
Hey, nutella banana sandwiches and strawberry jam banana sandwiches used to be my cycling fuel! Not at all shitty, just a very unwhelming presentation in this case.
No-Elephant-7698@reddit
Well, idk about toasted bread but nutella, banana and haribo schlümpfe combo is awesome on pizza (add Haribo after baking procedure is complete)
Palanki96@reddit
I don't approve it but apparently it's fairly normal?
