Doesn't look gendered to me but I don't think it works for your skin tone.
If the issue is nickel in the other one, you could paint the underneath with nail varnish.
Thank you! I agree & I’m sending it back
I did try that previously but I’m also allergic to nail polish sadly. I have a skin condition and it all began from false nails, years back! Now I’m allergic to everything 🥺
Going back to my stainless steel one until I find a gold one to match my earrings etc - which is the main jewellery I had to change due to my allergies!
ANSWERED!
Thank you everyone! Decision made: I’m sending it back.
It’s not quite what I wanted and you’re all right, it’s not super gendered, but it’s also just not suited to me!
As for allergies, I’m allergic to acrylic, so sport bands aren’t an option and fabric/leather ones and snapped on me before because I’m really tough on my watch due to my lifestyle.
Thank you for your input!
Generally I would say gender neutral. Slightly feminine with the white watch but attached to a man I don't think anyone would see it as a woman's strap.
I also wasn’t sure if it looked off with not having a gold watch itself! I used to have all silver everything.
I’m a woman so I’m kinda pleased with that answer - I wear men’s clothing sometimes so it doesn’t bother me hugely, however, I prefer more dainty jewellery normally so as a chunky style I wasn’t sure
No the band is neutral.
First photo i leant more masculine. Second more feminine.
Im female - it would feel too heavy for me - wouldnt look right. But that's my taste. On your arm it has no connotations either way. If you like it, wear it
I don't think it looks particularly gendered, I just don't think it doesn't look great because of the clash in colour between the watch and the strap. Would be better with a silver (appearance) band or just a rubber one.
I used to have all silver but I’ve changed all my jewellery to gold due to allergies and doctor’s advice. I will get a gold case for the actual watch too but no point if I was to return the strap!
I’m a woman and usually see this style on men so was unsure. I’m open to androgynous clothing but usually go for very feminine jewellery options.
Is the allergy actually from the metal? I don't wear my wedding ring all the time because I get a reaction with hand soap getting under it and then with my watch I sometimes get a sweat rash so try and take that off every now and again.
That is the version I had that snagged all my clothing sadly - I may have to look into a better quality version as my old silver version was perfectly fine, but the gold was terrible
