I dunno ... realtalk... I kind of feel sad for them.
First of all, the artists feels a little more GenX than I identify with... was Flock of Seagulls big with Xennials? A lot of the artists are ones I know of but don't exactly vibe with. Devo and Talking heads were kind of weird /mature for elementary and early middle school students in 1989.
I guess NKOTB was a thing but I don't think I was buying albums yet when En Vogue, Salt n Pepa, and Rick Astkey were huge. I heard them on American top 40 and maybe at roller skating parties, but not at middle school dances.
So it's weird seeing them frolic in the video. I'll admit the song and video were extremely well done, but I guess I see them as not that popular in the last 30 years and here they are and I literally haven't thought about them since the early 90s.

Wow the Kids look so old. They didn't age like Paul Rudd. En Vogue looks great. Well I will give it too them to play with their relevancy with a nostalgia trip.

Their videos always feel so nostalgic to me. Which may be exactly what they’re going for lol

Voices so processed and auto-tuned it might as well be AI. Just sounds like robots.

I was like why are they dressed like Journey in that thumbnail? On point.

Not a fan of the song itself, but I love the energy of the video and seeing all of them together. So much fun!
