Nostalgia

Somehow though 8 moves in my adulthood I've kept a handful of special items from my youth.

The chokehold this NO! sweater had on me in junior high. I wore it with pegged Girbaud jeans, a white mock turtleneck, and docksider boat shoes with spiral laces. I told my husband to bury me in it. And let's be honest, it probably belongs underground anyways.

The keys are from my first car, a 1984 Ford escort. Her name was Goldie. I loved that first taste of freedom. Driving in my own car, picking my own music (Pearl Jam), windows down(crank style) without any cares in the world.

My combination lock, 26-15-34. I can't remember my passwords half the time now.

The flip side cassette game that endured so many road trips, the pieces are missing.

I'm really surprised the MJ picture disc is still in it's sleeve and hasn't melted from so many years in the attic.

I'd love to know what you've carried with you through the years. These items are truly priceless to me.
