Marina Abramovic

This chick is freaking bonkers, she cooked her menstrual blood in a pot and wrote with it on a wall. I'd absolutely love everything about her if she wasn't in the inner circle of all the Epstein people.

Edi Rama. Seen as a funny pro-Europe chungus artist by neoliberals and other pro-Europe normies, meanwhile most Albanians can't stand his guts. I just hate the endless Rama glaze, some foreigners make him look like Ataturk because he's building glass towers or some shit.

>meanwhile most Albanians can't stand his guts
When Edi visited Athens, 40.000 people went to visit him. He's very popular with Albanians here because he's seen as a strong EU leader generating jobs and building industries and skyscrapers.
johnybea@reddit
You voted him 3 Terms if not more lol . You cant say most Albanians hate him when he keeps getting elected.

Dino Merlin.
Perhaps not super well liked internationally but fairly popular pop star regionally.
Extremely hated by about 70% of Sarajevo for some reason.
I would add the band Dubioza Kolektiv to the list. Regional stars, possibly best known Bosnian musicians internationally, pretty much disliked as cringe sellouts by what would normally be their demographic locally.

Boiko Borisov. I think he's this for our country.

ismail Kadare is definitely our most internationally well-known writer, but he’s still controversial within the country because of his ties to the communist regime.

AdLiving4714@reddit
No. Apart from some far left groupies, no one takes him seriously.
mehmetem@reddit
I really appreciated his books. Good writer.
Aggorf12345@reddit
I imagine his approval rating abroad would be similar to his approval rating in Greece though so I dont think that's the correct example
bada_bing_bing@reddit
Interesting. Why is he not liked at home?
Loife1@reddit
A lot of people don't really like Jokić
240223e@reddit

Only high SNS officials because he supported student protests but i don't count them because they'd hate Tesla or any other very respected serbs if they supported protests.

Tate brothers(not romananian citizens but they are liked/hated in the same measure both internal and international and they enjoy their stay in Romania).
Nicolae Ceasescu-clmmunist dictator very hated in Romania beacause of his restrictions toward food and utilities(in his regime our parents had to stay at huge lines in order to take a bread, eggs or butter also the heat amd electricity were rationalized). But some naive western people temd to like him and consider him a Che Guevara from Balkans.🤦♂️🤣
silentmarrow@reddit

Zoran Zaev and his cronies, very liked internationally for getting the country into NATO, the Prespa Agreement and some other international deals he was a part of, Rutte even made Shekerinska the Deputy Secretary General of NATO.
These people are the most corrupt and incompetent people in existence, they are so unpopular that a brand new party was formed of ex-party members and are nearly at the same level.
