PPL Getting hours

Hey all. Canadian. I’d like to have my PPL by Christmas if all goes well. Progress into the big leagues eventually. What are ways that low hour pilots make hours? Obviously the following steps is CPL.. But at what point do things shift from paying to flying vs being paid to fly to get hours? I don’t think I’d mind bush bombin as like a 7/4 rotation or whatever schedule in northern Ontario

Mostly instructing, flight schools in Ontario need instructors really badly right now. You do have the option to do bush flying, but you may need to rethink Northern Ontario and expand to northern Canada. I know lots of people who went north but like Northwest territories North in done cases. Getting a float rating is a big one for the seasonal Northern ops too. I'd focus on getting your licenses first though and worry about jobs later.

Don't worry about how and when you're going to get the hours. Just go flying and have fun, and the hours will come along with it. Maybe plan some cross country trips, or do some further training such as your instrument rating, but don't worry about hours before you've even got your PPL.
